  • 1 week long course
  • 3-4 hrs daily.
  • Monday to Saturday.
  • Lectures and notes on how to diagnose a tooth for root canal treatment.
  • How to take pre operative xrays of the same and interpret information for the RCT from the x-ray
  • What to tell the patient and how to convince them for RCT.
  • Learn how to put the rubber dam using different methods and to educate the patient for the same.
  • Straight line access opening-how deep,how wide ….
  • Canal location and how to rule out the possibility of an extra canal.
  • How much to enlarge the canals and why?
  • Step back tech.
  • Instrumentation and irrigation.
  • Obturation.
  • How to avoid instrument breakage and what to do in case it does happen.
  • Assessing the prognosis of the RCTd tooth.
  • Prognosis of a tooth requiring re-RCT
  • And lots of other things.
  • Notes will be provided.
  • Candidates will have to get their own extracted teeth.
  • Instruments and materials may be provided.
